Carol the Pilgrim fell in love with the Via Francigena in late 2016 when she discovered its delights on her pilgrimage from Canterbury to Rome. So, she started up Via Francigena Tours to share the joy of being a pilgrim! Carol has many personal attributes to help make your pilgrimage amazing. She spent many years teaching science, art and religion. Today she is well informed about the history and culture of the Via Francigena. Also, she is passionate about walking, historical architecture and the landscape, all creatively captured in photography, drawing and writing.
